Each Entry Must Consist of:

  • Completed and signed application entry form (or photocopy). All signatures must be original.

  • CD(s) or audio cassette(s) containing one song only, six minutes or less in length.

  • Lyric sheet typed or printed legibly with song title on the lyric sheet (no name please). Judges will not have access to your name or application information. They will only hear your song and judge songs accordingly.

  • Check or money order for $20.00 per song (U.S. currency only) payable to The Kickapoo Valley Acoustic Music Association. No credit cards are accepted. Payment will be accepted by check or money order.

  • Applications must be postmarked by August 4th, 2010 and received at the physical address (P.O Box 156, Coon Valley, WI. 54623) by August 4th, 2010 or your entry will be subject to disqualification. Songwriters will be notified on August 11th, 2010 and no later than August 12, 2010. Songwriters may check the website at kvama.org for contest information after all of the judges have submitted their final selections. Please be patient, we try the best we can to post results efficiently.
